At 'Ronse Drawing Prize' the focus is on contemporary drawing. The exhibition enjoys a strong artistic appearance and growing attention from the Flemish visual arts world. This has to do with a great interest in the art of drawing, but also with the concept and especially with the appointment of jury members with idiosyncratic expertise and a strong weight in the art sector.
Nature is invaluable, from a haven in a hectic world to the basis for the development of new technologies. About 800 years ago, van Assisi wrote his Song of the Sun, a poem in which he sings about nature. Gratitude for nature is timeless and is still meaningful today. This exhibition of the "Zin in Zomer" festival shows artworks that have a focus on this theme.
