Realistic works become interesting when the artist has more to say than the virtuoso representation of the visually perceptible reality, when in other words he or she goes beyond reality. This exhibition shows six artists from very different disciplines who work realistically but at the same time go beyond Reality.
From September 5 to November 15, Marres organizes the first Limburg Biennale. Marres follows the tradition of the annual Summer Exhibition of the Royal Academy in London. This exhibition brings together all kinds of artists, professionals, amateurs, hobbyists in a festive celebration of the arts.
Her creative process reflects the search for the place and interconnection of the individual in our existence, starting from an interest in the theses of existence, evolution and extinction.
Up-and-coming talented artists display their paintings, sculptures, photos, videos, textiles, illustrations and objects in the Port House. The selection was made by a jury of Antwerp museum directors and managers.

The Makers will have the opportunity to exposure and to enter into a dialogue about the artistic, practical questions and the development.On Sunday, Bureau Europa will open its doors to the public.
